Therapy and EOTAS

This is usually selected for children and young people currently in an education provisions. During these sessions, Children and Young People are matched with others to aid with social interaction and learning. Together they work towards activities based on animal care and husbandry, This will develop skills, increase independence, progressing confidence, and social skills.

These sessions are 2 hours long, and available Monday to Friday. Children and young people referred for therapeutic work experience usually aged  8-17yrs old.

NLP for children and young people can be extremely helpful in strengthening and liberating a child’s mind when they are plagued by negative thoughts.

The reprogramming techniques used in NLP can empower a child and help them to interpret external situations in a much more positive way internally.

This is can be offered as a stand along therapy or as part of a wider package. Sessions normally last no longer than an hour. 

The EOTAS placements are for children and young people who are in temporary provision or in no current provision. These are similar to therapeutic placements in practice, with the addition of teaching time.

 

EOTAS placements vary from 2- 4 days per week. For EOTAS placements the age range is 10-17. Placements are booked per term.

This can help children or young people to make sense of what’s going on in their life and find ways of coping when things are difficult.

This is can be offered as a stand alone therapy or as part of a wider package. Sessions normally last no longer than an hour. 

​

This is usually selected for children and young people who are experiencing EBSA anxiety or any other mental health difficulties which affects school attendance.

We will create a bespoke package which over the course of 14 weeks will allow the student to reengage with education.

These packages will include tuition outreach therapy and animal work experience. We will work alongside, the education provider to reengage the student.
