Who We Are
At The Lighthouse, we understand the importance of having the correct people around you to allow you to learn and develop. We have hand selected an outstanding group of teachers and support staff to assist the young people.

Teacher
Amy-Claire Willis
Amy is a qualified teacher of over 10 years who has a wealth of experience in teaching Maths, Humanities and PSHE. She has experinece teaching in mainstream, PRU and SEND setting from KS2-KS4

Trauma and Attachment Specialist
Donna Sawtell
Donna has extensive experience working with children from age 6-16 in a number of settings. She specialises in outside education and attachment and trauma.

Animal Instructor
Ashleigh Mcgowan
Ashleigh is a fully qualified animal instructor. She has had experience supporting young people up to college level. She has also completed training in animal assisted learning and therapy.

Teaching Assistant
Jamie Wye
Jamie supports pupils with both practical and theory based activities at the blue lighthouse. He has completed training in both play and animal assisted learning.

Maria supports pupils with both practical and theory based activities at the blue lighthouse.

Theraputic Arts Practitioner
Sophie Linsell
Sophie is a qualified teacher of over 10 years who has a wealth of experience. She has experience teaching in mainstream secondary setting. She is a qualified Mental health first aider and is working towards her masters in Art Therapy.

Lynette is a qualified teacher who has a masters in education and is a qualified SENDco.
